Ken Valentine<\/h5>\n

Ken began his Secret Service career in 1996. In 2000 he was transferred to the Presidential Protective Division, serving under presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama. After serving as the Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Field Office and the Dignitary Protective Division, Ken retired from government service to pursue corporate security and operational risk consulting. He is the author of \u201cCheating Death\u201d and \u201cStaying Sharp\u201d.<\/p>\n

Scott “Scotty” Smiley<\/h5>\n

Blinded in a suicide bombing attack in Iraq, Smiley was the Army\u2019s first blind active-duty officer, serving for nearly 10 years. He went on to earn a Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration from Duke University, taught leadership at West Point and lead the Warrior Transition Unit at West Point. Smiley is the author of \u201cHope Unseen,\u201d his biography.<\/p>\n
