Sometimes it is the emotional scars of gun battle, other times it is the grief of dealing with the loss of a comrade by suicide. Whatever the case, Blue Watch helps by providing\u00a0<\/span><span>resources that are designed to help officers overcome whatever they may experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.7.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;||||false|false&#8221; custom_margin_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin_phone=&#8221;||||false|false&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span>In January, four departments experienced officer-involved shootings.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The first was in Gadsden in the early morning hours of January 6. Officers shot and killed one suspect. Most who are in gunfights survive but may not win. Learn the difference and how you can survive and win.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>\u201cSuicide Is Not an Option\u201d:<\/i><\/b><span> Each year 2.5-3 times more officers take their own life than are murdered in the line of duty. Despite the efforts of many, the suicide rate amongst law enforcement officers continues to rise. A retired police sergeant and author, Tim Rupp, explores the spiritual aspects and argues there is meaning to life beyond the individual.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>\u201cCourageous Living Bible Study\u201d:<\/i><\/b><span> This four-session Bible study is designed to challenge you to live courageously for the sake of your family.
