At the May 8 Jefferson County Wreath Laying Ceremony, the names of five fallen officers were unveiled on the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Memorial. Those memorialized were Officer Roy Mangum, Sr.; Sgt. Wytasha Carter; Officer Nicholas O\u2019Rear; Sgt. Parnell Guyton; and Officer Randall Smith.<\/span><\/p>\n At the ceremony\u2019s conclusion, Blue Watch had the honor to help provide lunch for the families of the fallen. A special thanks goes to Jim Henderson, retired Birmingham Police Department. This is a must read for any officer that has ever been in an officer-involved shooting.<\/span><\/p>\n In May, six copies were sent to Dothan Police Department after an officer was shot and the suspect killed when the suspect pulled a gun on officers.
